Biography
Last time he played in the NBL he was spectacular at the Sydney Kings as the Grand Final MVP in NBL23 and will look to repeat the dose now in NBL25 at the South East Melbourne Phoenix.
The strong, explosive and big playmaking point guard has had quite the career all over the world, but now returns where he enjoyed some of his greatest success down under to play in the NBL for a second time.
Grew up in Detroit and then spent all four of his college years at the University of Michigan where he made the Big Ten All-Freshman Team in 2024, All-Big Ten Third Team in 2016, All Second Team in 2017 and was the Tournament Most Outstanding Player also as a senior in 2017.
Started his pro career signing a two-way deal for the Miami Heat and played 16 NBA games in that rookie season along with 27 in the G League for the Sioux Falls Skyforce for 15.5 points, 5.0 assists and 4.8 rebounds.
Would go on to play 23 NBA games at the LA Clippers in the 2019/20 season and six games in two separate stints with his hometown Detroit Pistons, but the majority of his career has been overseas since.
That included playing for Žalgiris in Lithuania, Alba Berlin in Germany, ASVEL Basket in France and Zhejiang Lions in China.
He played at the Sydney Kings in NBL23 and starred in their championship season with 15.9 points, 6.1 assists and 3.8 rebounds on the way to being named Grand Final MVP including a spectacular 45-point outburst along the way against the South East Melbourne Phoenix.
