Biography
The Tasmanian product has long been seen as one of the more exciting emerging point guards in Australian basketball and will look to continue his growth in a second NBL season at the Cairns Taipans.
Having grown up in Burnie, Tasmania, was always a prodigious talent growing up and after being strongly recruited from a host of schools, joined California Baptist University.
Spent the two seasons with the Lancers where he produced 10.9 points, 5.6 assists and 4.8 rebounds showing himself to be an outstanding playmaking point guard.
Along the way he was the first player from Cal Baptist to be named Western Athletic Conference Freshman of the Year and broke the single-game assists record by dishing out 15 dimes against North Dakota in December 2021.
Decided to begin his professional career after those two seasons and was a hot commodity by a host of NBL clubs, but it was Adam Forde and the Taipans who secured the services of the 6'5 point guard who adjusted well to life in the NBL last season.
In 23 games for the Snakes in NBL24, he had 7.7 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.7 assists, and will take on even greater ball handling responsibilities in NBL25 with the NBA not out of reach for him in the near future.
