Biography
Now comes into NBL25 with Melbourne United as a four-time Olympian and on a mission to go one step further after being one win away from the NBL championship.
It has been quite the remarkable ride for the tenacious guard who has had one of the great careers already for an Australian basketballer, but he is far from done yet at 34 years of age.
After growing up in Maryborough, Victoria, he spent two years at the Australian Institute of Sport before continuing Australian's rich legacy at Saint Mary's College with his impact so significant his jersey has since been retired by the Gaels.
Joined the Cleveland Cavaliers of the NBA for 2013/14 and became a crucial member of the Cavs team that lost the NBA Finals to the Golden State Warriors before getting revenge a year later to claim the 2016 championship.
Spent three and-a-bit seasons at the Milwaukee Buckets before returning to the Cavs midway through the 2018/19 season, and playing another two seasons.
That's when he had his first stint in the NBL and had a strong season with Melbourne in NBL22 before then returning to the NBA to play at the Sacramento Kings in 2022/23.
Had a standout NBL24 season with Melbourne too with 12.9 points, 6.3 assists and 3.5 rebounds a game on a team that finished as regular season champions before losing a Championship Series in five games to Tasmania.
That season earned him a spot on the Australian Boomers team at Paris 2024 on the back of playing at the 2012, 2016 and 2020 Olympics, and winning bronze in Tokyo.
