Biography
Is that rare mix of a player who makes his team and teammates better just through his presence and without needing standout numbers, and he quickly became one of the most important Perth Wildcats players in NBL24.
Is now coming back to the 'Cats for a second season with the 28-year-old having now played 96 games in the NBL and having figured out the way he can best make an impact as a player who makes the hustle plays, gives his all for the team and then defend, rebound and shoot when needed.
Having grown up in Hamilton, New Zealand, started in the NZ NBL as an 18-year-old in 2015 with the Super City Rangers before heading to college at Umpqua Community College in Oregon.
Spent the 2015/16 season there before returning home to continue playing in the NZ NBL with the Hawke's Bay Hawks in 2018 and then the Southland Sharks in 2019.
That led into his first NBL opportunity at the Illawarra Hawks in the 2019/20 season as a development player and he hit the floor 16 times for 2.6 points and 1.4 rebounds.
Played with the Manawatu Jets in 2020 leading the NZ NBL in steals at 2.7 a game and finished NBL21 at the Cairns Taipans as an injury replacement player.
Then after playing back at the Hawks in the NZ NBL of 2021, joined the Adelaide 36ers for two seasons contributing strongly over 49 games.
Played with the Tall Blacks at the FIBA World Cup in 2023 ahead of a first season with the Wildcats where he was a standout forward with 5.8 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.4 assists before delivering 15.9 points, 8.5 boards and 5.3 assists at the Wellington Saints.
