The Illawarra Hawks welcome Kevin White back to the club for the Hungry Jack's NBL23 season.

White re-joins the Hawks after the last two NBL seasons with the Perth Wildcats and will fill an injury replacement role as Dan Grida attacks his rehabilitation.

White will bring his hard-nosed defence and perimeter shooting back to Illawarra, with the 11-year NBL veteran suiting up at this weekend's NBL Blitz.

Hawks General Manager of Basketball, Mat Campbell, spoke of White's impact on the current Hawks group.

"You won't find a better teammate or clubman than Kev."

"His career speaks for itself, and his experience will be a welcome addition to our young and developing roster".

"Kevin's professionalism and attention to detail will complement the high standards our leadership group continues to set. We look forward to seeing him back in Hawks' colours this weekend and in the season proper".

The Hawks begin their three-game Hungry Jack's NBL Blitz campaign Sunday evening 7.30 pm against Melbourne United, with all games available on Kayo freebies.
