The Illawarra Hawks will finally enjoy a significant stand of home games after the NBL announced the fixtures for Round 12, 13 and 14 today.

The Hawks will play four games in the space of 10 days at the WIN Entertainment Centre, highlighted by the third game of the 'Freeway Series' against arch-rivals - the Sydney Kings.

The NBL's 2021 Easter round will tip off on Thursday April 1 when the Hawks tackle the Kings, followed by the Perth Wildcats v New Zealand Breakers at RAC Arena later that day.

The Hawks will also run into the Brisbane Bullets for the second time in two weeks (April 7), the Adelaide 36ers (April 9) and the South East Melbourne Phoenix (April 11) at home in what looms as a potentially season-defining stretch of games.

Hawks Co-Owner and President, Dorry Kordahi, said it was exciting to finally welcome basketball back to the Illawarra.

"Our fans have been extremely supportive while the team has been away for the majority of the season and it's great we can finally reward their patience with some well-deserved home games," Kordahi said.

"We have had only had the one home game so far this season and it was an exciting night on and off the court when United were in town. We can't wait to throw open the doors to the WIN Entertainment Centre again and welcome back our loyal fans and proud corporate partners with open arms," Kordahi said.

Hawks coach Brian Goorjian said this group of home games couldn't come at a better time for his young side.

"We can't wait to finally be back at our home court and playing in front of our home fans. Our guys have done it the hard way this season, being on the road for so long, but now we have some home games it'll definitely help the motivate the team as we try and make a charge towards the playoffs," Goorjian said.

"The one game we played here you could feel the atmosphere in the arena, you could see how much the people of the Illawarra enjoy their basketball and the players were all commenting about how great it was to be back at the WIN Entertainment Centre. We've got some tough teams coming into our building and we can't wait to defend home court," Goorjian said.

The NBL will play 27 games in 18 consecutive days across rounds 12-14, with the Hawks taking on the NZ Breakers at the Silverdome in Launceston as the NBL prepares to welcome the Tasmania JackJmpers into the league next season.

Hungry Jack’s NBL Commissioner Jeremy Loeliger said the league was excited to see the NBL return to Tasmania just months before the JackJumpers’ debut.

"It’s going to be a feast of NBL in April with 27 games across 18 days without a break right around Australia and it’s a great opportunity for fans to get out and support their teams," Loeliger said.

Tickets for the upcoming home game against the Brisbane Bullets on Monday 29 March can be purchased through Ticketmaster HERE.

Tickets for the Sydney Kings game on Thursday 1 April will go on sale at 2pm tomorrow (March 24).

Tickets for the 'Triple Threat' of home games against the Bullets, 36ers and Phoenix will be on sale from Wednesday 31 March.
